Admissions at INNH Addiction Treatment
Taking the first step is the hardest part. We make the rest easy.
The Admissions Process
Step 1: Confidential Assessment
Your journey begins with a free, confidential phone assessment with one of our admissions counselors. We will ask about your substance use history, mental health, medical background, and treatment goals. This conversation typically takes 15 to 20 minutes and helps our clinical team determine the most appropriate level of care for your situation. Call us anytime at (209) 593-3447 or email [email protected].
Step 2: Insurance Verification
Our dedicated insurance team will verify your benefits and explain your coverage in clear, simple terms — at no cost to you. We work with most major insurance providers and can often complete verification within one to two hours. If you do not have insurance, we will discuss self-pay options and payment plans.
Step 3: Pre-Admission Planning
Once your clinical and financial assessments are complete, our team will coordinate your admission date, provide a detailed packing list, and answer any remaining questions. We understand that entering treatment can be overwhelming, so we guide you through every detail to ensure a smooth, stress-free arrival at our facility.
Step 4: Arrival & Welcome
When you arrive at our Long Beach campus, our admissions team will greet you personally. You will complete a brief medical intake, meet your treatment team, tour the facility, and settle into your room. From this moment forward, our 83-member staff is fully dedicated to your recovery.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does treatment last?
Treatment duration varies based on individual needs. Medical detox typically lasts 3 to 7 days. Residential treatment ranges from 30 to 90 days. Outpatient programs run 2 to 12 weeks. Our clinical team will recommend the appropriate length of stay based on your assessment.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. We accept most major insurance plans including Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Humana, Tricare, Medicare, and Medi-Cal. Our team provides free insurance verification and will explain your benefits before admission.
Is medical detox safe?
Absolutely. Our medical detox is supervised 24/7 by board-certified physicians and registered nurses. We use medication-assisted treatment (MAT) when appropriate to ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the withdrawal process.
Can family members visit?
Yes. We encourage family involvement in the recovery process. Scheduled visitation is available during designated hours, and family therapy sessions are a core component of our treatment programs. Specific visiting policies are provided during admissions.
What if I need to travel to your facility?
We welcome patients from across California and nationwide. Our admissions team can help coordinate travel arrangements and airport pickup from Long Beach Airport (LGB) or Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), both of which are nearby.
Do you treat co-occurring mental health disorders?
Yes. Our dual diagnosis program provides integrated treatment for substance use disorders alongside conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and bipolar disorder. Our psychiatric team ensures both conditions are treated simultaneously for the best outcomes.
